The curriculum is good and it challenges my son to learn. My son loves it and wants to go to school every day. Overall, it is a good school with great teachers, vice principal and principal.

Zion has learned so much more being at CMIT, the curriculum is a challenge for him, which is what he needed, he enjoys the multi-cultures and making new friends, but most of all he enjoys that he’s learning at a higher level and being prepared for college.

So far we have been pleased with the academic rigor of the program. We are interested in seeing Jalen continue to be challenged and developed as an academic scholar and believe that that can be accomplished at CMIT.

I appreciate the time and effort most of the teachers take with the students to encourage and ensure their academic success. Their level of dedication is a tribute to the teaching profession.

My child actually likes school now and I credit CMIT for challenging her a bit and allowing her to ” think out of the box.”

CMIT South utilizes PGCPS Student Rights and Responsibilities Handbook.

This handbook is designed to outline the expectations for students and parents/guardians, as well as the procedures to teach students decision-making and problem-solving skills, along with consistently applying rules, expectations and discipline in our schools.

Please review the contents of this handbook with your child and make sure they are aware of the
opportunities and their rights and responsibilities as a member of the Prince George’s County Public Schools’ community.

With the support of students, parents and guardians – along with the continued dedication of teachers and staff – PGCPS will continue to soar and reach great heights for student success.

Together, we will have a great year!
