I would like to re-enroll my daughter because I’m pleased with how the school has operated thus far. I haven’t found reason to complain and I love the consent communication that I have with her teachers and the staff. I believe that my daughter is challenged in her assignments. I don’t feel as though her View Full →

I think the school challenges my son and is making him stretch and grow before he gets to high school to prepare him for college. I like the tutoring that is being offered and the accessibility of the staff and administration.

I like the frequent communication via email between Teachers and Parents. We as parents are knowledgeable of what is required for and from the students. The enrichment programs offered are good, because each child can find a program that appeal to them. What I would like to see in the High School years is a View Full →

Welcome Back

CMIT South Students, Staff, and Parents, welcome back.

We are about to start our third year in a state-of-the-art facility with additional 160 students and 16 new staff members. 36 teachers, an Assistant Principal, 2 Program Coordinators, a School Counselor, 5 Student Support Specialists, an Operations Manager, 3 Secretaries, and a Registered Nurse will be in charge of well-being and education of 560 students.

This year, CMIT South staff will continue to focus on quality instruction with the emphasis on literacy, academic rigor, and safety in a positive learning atmosphere. As our mission statement reads, in partnership with students, parents, and community, CMIT South will continue to attain educational excellence by providing a rigorous and technology-integrated education.

CMIT South is receiving new furniture and lockers for high school section. Students will now have access to a Technology Education lab, new Science labs, an indoor field, a fitness room, and a 300-seat capacity auditorium.

Please read rest of the newsletter to learn more about first week procedures. I am kindly asking parents to drop off students and continue their day without entering the building on the first day. As being the founding principal of CMIT North and CMIT South, I assure you that CLF schools had smooth “first days” every year. Your trust and partnership is appreciated.

Parents will have an opportunity to tour the school during back to school nights. Staff will have minimum availability to take any parent for a tour or to provide assistance with questions as students come in on Monday, the 22nd and Tuesday, the 23rd.

I look forward to working with all of our families to raise responsible citizens for college and workforce.
